Summary

Salt River Project (SRP) is undergoing a significant transformation in its power generation resource portfolio, including the planned deployment of a new pumped storage hydropower project that could add up to 2000 MW of energy storage capacity. As a Senior Principal Engineer, you will provide expert-level technical engineering support for the civil and physical aspects of new gas insulated and air insulated substation facilities. Your initial assignment will include participating on SRP’s dedicated Pumped Storage Project Team overseeing design, procurement and construction of new Power Delivery facilities. Experience

Education

Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum, an International Engineering Alliance (IEA) recognized institution, ABET Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) or any state or internationally recognized PE registration.

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
