SUMMARY The full-time entry level position consists of supporting the Project Manager or a Project Engineer Level III in designing cold-formed steel framed structures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer Level III in preparing calculations and construction documents for cold formed steel framing structures.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Educational experience requires a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college. Up to one year of residential and/or light commercial engineering design experience preferred but not required. SKILLSLanguage: Effective verbal/written communication is a priority. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals/periodicals. Respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, vendors, and the public.Computer: Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with AutoCAD and any structural analysis/design programs are extremely helpful but not required.Reasoning:Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Other: Organizational and planning skills are a plus. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
