Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in a dynamic construction environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating and assembling various components, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and utilizing various power tools and machinery.
Duties
•
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
•
Perform pipe threading and rigging tasks as needed for project requirements.
•
Operate forklifts safely to transport materials around the construction site.
•
Utilize power tools, including soldering equipment and press brake machines, for precise assembly.
•
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and specifications are met.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
•
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
•
Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions.
•
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
•
Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
•
Strong skills in fabricating, assembling, and soldering components.
•
Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and rigging practices.
•
Proficient in operating forklifts and other power tools safely.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
