As an ENST 4 at CDM Smith, you’ll have more responsibility and independence. Leading small projects or parts of larger ones will be a key part of your role, along with mentoring new staff members. This is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make a significant impact on your projects and team. Additionally, under general supervision, you’ll be performing structural analyses and designs for various materials such as reinforced concrete, structural steel, reinforced masonry, and other metal structures. These tasks will range from basic to high complexity, ensuring that client project requirements are met.

Skills And Abilities

Solid Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices. Strong Knowledge of engineer principles of design. Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Solid knowledge of engineering analysis/design software (e.g. Revit, STAAD, RISA). Ability to arrange/layout structural systems and elements for strength, stability, constructability, and construction economy.
