We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Loader Associate to join our dynamic team at ANCO Steel Company, Inc. located in Aurora, IL.

- COMPETETIVE PAY- Hourly rate commensurate with experience. Time and a half overtime after 40 hours in a workweek.

- Work hours and days are Monday through Friday – 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Occasional weekend work may be needed as job duties demand.

Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials safely within the warehouse.

- Load and unload materials from flatbed trucks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

- Assist with order picking and packing for shipping and receiving processes.

- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety standards.

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles.

- Strong understanding of materials handling processes.

- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures.

To successfully secure this opportunity, you must have:

- Must be 18 years old or older for this position.

- Minimum 2-year experience in heavy materials-type warehouse picking orders - loading and unloading flatbed trucks.

- Minimum 2-year forklift experience.

- Minimum 2-year overhead crane experience.

- Physically dexterous to climb, lift and move heavy steel material and load/unload delivery trucks.

- Skills in basic math to include working with inches, fractions and decimals, ability to read and measure with ruler/tape measure – use of a micrometer/caliper.
