Staff Engineer - Forney Power Plant

This position works with occasional supervision or direction to perform assigned tasks and coordinate assigned initiatives through completion. The position will maintain effective working relationships with others

- Performs assigned task with minimum guidance from supervision

- Organize and analyze issue specific information and make appropriate recommendations

- Coordinates assigned projects, studies and initiatives through completion

- Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

- Prepare and present routine reports

- Participate in special project and committee assignments as requested

- Lead routine problem - solving efforts

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) from an accredited program.

- Minimum 4 yrs. relevant job experience

- Experience managing capital budgets preferred.

- Experience with preventive maintenance systems preferred.

- Experience with Maximo software preferred.

- LEVEL OF POSITION WILL BE DETERMINED BY APPLICABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE.
