Key Responsibilities•Identify and assess development prospects, including site evaluations and feasibility studies.
•Develop and execute project strategies, managing schedules, budgets, and cash flow projections.
•Ensure compliance with contracts and regulatory requirements, coordinating with technical support as needed.
•Collaborate with experts/contractors on resource assessment, design, financial modelling, interconnection, and permitting.
•Develop acquisition plans, securing site control and engaging landowners, while coordinating meetings and community events.
•Cultivate relationships with landowners, customers, government officials, and other stakeholders.
•Coordinate site resource monitoring, supporting environmental studies and report completion.
•Research local, state, and federal regulations, managing consultants for permitting and regulatory compliance.
•Assist in the origination of offtake opportunities, developing RFPs and support materials.
What You Bring
•Bachelor’s degree or qualification in Civil or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
•8+ years of experience in wind and/or solar project development having executed 6-8 projects and managing multiple projects concurrently.
•Strong understanding of zoning, permitting, and interconnection processes
•Proficiency in MS Excel, Project/Smartsheet, and Google Earth
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
•Willingness to travel up to 50%
