Sr. Process Engineer

· What we do:

Raffinate Technologies was established as an engineering and design company primarily targeting the oil and gas industry. We are looking for an application engineer or process engineer with a minim bachelor's degree from an accredited school or with minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering field.

What you’ll do:

· Able to understand scope of work, contractual requirements of the project, and be able to help lead engineer in process technology evaluations and development.

· Process simulations, calculations, equipment sizing, equipment specifications, equipment cost estimation, systems design, detail engineering, proposal development, and project support.

- Stay current with industry changes in engineering best practices, techniques, and tools

· Site walkdowns as necessary for proposal and project execution. Work will be at gas processing facility and will need compliance to PPE on a daily basis.

· Operational support for clients in West Texas

· Other tasks as required

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical or natural gas) from an accredited school.

· 5-10 yrs. engineering experience

· Basic knowledge in reading and understanding engineering drawings.

· Proficient level experience in Microsoft products ... Word and Excel.

· This position must communicate effectively and respectfully with clients, vendors, contractors, and colleagues at all levels of responsibility.

· Professional demeanor is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in engineering (chemical, natural gas, petroleum, mechanical)

· Experience in simulation software is preferred - AspenTech Hysys or BR&E Promax or Honeywell UniSim.

· Experience in amine treating systems, dehydration, cryogenic systems, refrigeration systems.

· Ability to troubleshoot processing and treating plants and work with operations.

· Demonstrated ability to form effective business relationships with third party equipment vendors and Oil and Gas clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
