- Process Optimization: Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for solar panel production to improve efficiency, yield, and quality.
- Equipment Management: Collaborate with the equipment engineering team to evaluate, calibrate, and maintain production equipment for maximum performance.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Process Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process control plans, and work instructions.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to reduce waste, lower costs, and improve process stability.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality team to ensure processes meet quality standards and compliance requirements, including ISO 9001 and other relevant certifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with R&D, equipment engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes into production.
- Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor junior engineers and operators on best practices and process improvements.
- New Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement new materials, equipment, and processes to stay ahead in solar panel manufacturing innovation.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related field).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in solar panel manufacturing or a related industry.
- Expertise in manufacturing processes, such as lamination, soldering, encapsulation, or module assembly.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Python) and process simulation software.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement techniques.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address production challenges promptly.
- Experience in photovoltaic (PV) module production or renewable energy manufacturing.
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing.
- Familiarity with international standards for solar panel production (e.g., IEC, UL).
