Sr. Design Engineer (Electric Distribution)

What You’ll Do:

- Be a team lead responsible for managing the day to day of a design team.

- Responsible for project execution from start to finish. This includes scoping, project timelines, budget estimations, and the delivery of a quality design package.

- You will be responsible for design review.

- You will often meet with the client and construction crews to review the scope of our design and discuss project execution.

- You will be a technical leader on the team contributing to the continual improvement of team knowledge.

- Actively seek new project opportunities through building and maintaining client relationships

- Work is centered around Asheville, NC,

- 20% hybrid expectations

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in engineering at ABET accredited university

- 3-5 years of electrical distribution design experience OR 5-7+ years of electrical utility design experience.

- Self motivated to solve problems.

- Team Management

- Design Review

- Client Facing Experience

- Construction Support
