Pay range $28 to $33/hr. + Bonuses +_ benefits + Opportunities for advancement

Position Summary

As a Crew Lead, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and executing residential solar installations from start to finish. You’ll lead by example on the roof, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and keep your team productive and motivated. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

What You’ll Do

- Supervise and lead the installation crew on residential solar projects.

- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.

- Mount racking, modules, and electrical equipment.

- Communicate with the Roof Lead and Branch Manager regarding project updates or changes.

- Complete job documentation, collect data and photos, and maintain accurate records.

- Maintain and manage truck inventory, tools, and materials.

- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site.

- Drive company vehicle to and from job sites safely.

- Maintain a clean and organized job site.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Experience:

- Minimum 1+ year of solar installation experience.

- At least 6 months of experience leading a crew.

- Electrical and roof racking experience required.

Skills & Abilities:

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.

- Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces.

- Physically able to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.

- Skilled with hand and power tools, and able to train others in their safe use.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Additional Requirements

- Must pass a criminal history check, MVR check, and a 9-panel drug screen (includes Amphetamines, Cocaine Metabolites, Opiates, PCP, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Methadone, Methaqualone, Propoxyphene).

- Travel to job sites is required; must be able to drive a personal vehicle if needed.
