Salary Range: SP3, Level 5, $92,320- $115,400 per year. The final compensation for this position will be determined based on individual factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
Specialist, Digital Adoption - Hybrid
The Opportunity
The Digital Transformation & Business Delivery team of Regulatory Enhancement (RE) is recruiting for a Digital Adoption Specialist who will play a vital role in establishing a new digital adoption practice at the Albreta Enrergy Regulator (AER). As the Digital Adoption Specialist you will create digital adoption content that leverages expertise in WalkMe, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and technical writing to develop engaging elements that clearly communicate concepts and enhance users' understanding of regulatory technology capabilities at the AER.

What your day-to-day will look like:
•Analyze system user data to identify opportunities for integrating Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) elements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver digital solutions that enhance user clarity and engagement within regulatory systems.
•Develop and test engaging and informative WalkMe content for the AER’s OneStop platform. This includes walkthroughs, announcements, tooltips, and other elements that aid in user adoption and understanding of our systems.
•Engage with IT development teams and external users to advise of DAP best practices and consult on which tactics could be used to aid users in system adoption.
•Responsible for multiple concurrent small development projects that deliver the value of DAP elements to regulatory systems. Work to prioritize and maintain the DAP development backlog.
•Analyze user data in the digital adoption platform and identify areas of greatest need for future digital adoption development.
•Engage and advise the DAP team members in continuous process improvement within digital adoption practices
What we’re looking for in you:
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Education, Communications, Business or a related field.
•5+ years of related experience.
•Applied knowledge and experience with DAPs like WalkMe, Whatfix, Pendo, or similar experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery, and/or JavaScript, and instructional design.
•WalkMe Builder certification is preferred.
•Broad understanding of the AER’s mandate, its priorities, the regulatory decision framework, operational practices, and software and technology solution delivery is an asset.
•Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities effectively.
•A willingness to collaborate and a belief in the importance of building strong relationships, fostering a positive organizational culture
