Special Systems Superintendent

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Special Systems Superintendent with expertise in low voltage systems to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and maintenance of low voltage special systems, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

If you have proven leadership experience in construction management, particularly with fire alarm systems, security systems, access control, audio/visual, and communications systems, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Supervise the installation, repair, and maintenance of low voltage special systems on commercial and industrial construction projects.

- Manage and coordinate personnel, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring efficient project delivery.

- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and materials to maintain timelines and cost controls.

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and enforce company safety policies on job sites.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to achieve project goals.

- Review technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for accuracy and constructability.

- Mentor and train field staff, promoting growth and consistent performance.

- Provide project progress reports and updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

- ES-3J License (required).

- 5+ years of experience in low voltage special systems installation and repair.

- Strong background in field supervision with knowledge of fire alarm, security, and communications systems.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and system schematics.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Pay: $72,500.00 - $80,000.00 per year
