Position Specific Description

Position/Location: Solar Utility Technician - Neptune Solar: Pueblo, CO

This position sits within the Power Generation Division which is responsible for all of NextEra Energy's non-nuclear generation operations, exceeding 40,000 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity. This individual will perform the maintenance, electrical & mechanical day to day operations.

Job Overview

The main focus of the job is to perform mirror and HCE tube cleaning. The position is part of a six-man crew. The team will have to be proficient in operating the mirror-washing equipment, including tractor operation, water truck operation, and mirror-washing brush equipment. When mirror wash cannot be accomplished, the team will be utilized to perform site clean-up or minor maintenance on mirror wash equipment.

The base pay for this position is $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
