We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and renewable energy systems. As a Solar Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and equipment, as well as the ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- The primary role will be answering service calls, typically related to system outages, communication errors, system inspections and RMAs.

- Install solar panels and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties.
- Perform electrical work including high voltage and low voltage installations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot issues related to solar energy systems and perform necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fixtures for installation tasks.
- Operate forklifts safely on construction sites as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations during installations.
- Assist with roofing tasks related to solar panel placement when necessary.
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage components.
- Familiarity with NEC standards and regulations is essential.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures for installation purposes.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems is a plus but not required.
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
