Solar Project Manager

ILUM SOLAR is looking to hire a solar project manager to help oversee projects in Anaheim California. This position will assist and manage all Anaheim solar projects. The project manager is responsible for assisting with coordination of installation crews, material, project coordination and customer experience in addition to supporting the operations department. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills and has at least 4 years of solar project management experience. Applicants must have solar experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Schedule project installation and schedule changes with the customers, process change orders/addendums as needed

- Assist with Project coordination from Sales submittal to closeout.

- Coordinate filings, permits and solar inspections, assist with Bakersfield/Southern California submittals as needed by location.

- Maintain excellent communication with our customers and keep them updated on their project status.

- Maintain and update project status and workflow using Hubspot CRM, detailed notes with ALL project progress including dates

- Overseeing all site, field, permit and service technicians and organization of necessary documents and images

- Provide daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and all job status updates to operations team

- Perform regular check-ins with construction managers and operations team for updates on project status

- Responsible for effective oversight and management of multiple subcontractors

- Develop, schedule and lead project close-out processes

- Provide engineering and administrative support as needed

- Other duties as assigned by Management

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies

- A minimum of 3-4 years of solar project management experience (required)

- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with CRM or project workflow program

- Regular attendance required

- Able to Multitask effectively

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Attention to detail. Should be able to develop accurate written emails, reports and correspondence

- Must be able to clearly communicate with customers over the phone and communicate professionally in ALL emails
