Compensation: $30.00-$50.00 based on experience

What We Are Looking For

NOCO Solar is a growing renewable energy provider committed to delivering high-quality solar installations to residential customers across Western New York. We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Solar Panel Installer to support our busy season with hands-on leadership and quality workmanship.

As an Installer, you’ll be responsible for performing on-site solar PV installations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to code.

What You Will Do

- Participate in the full installation of residential and light commercial rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.

- Interpret and execute project plans, layouts, schematics, and electrical diagrams provided by the engineering team.

- Ensure that racking, modules, inverters, conduit, and other system components are installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company standards, and applicable codes.

- Conduct quality checks at each stage of the installation to confirm work meets company and code standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges related to electrical or structural aspects of the system.

- Verify system integrity and perform initial system commissioning when required.

- Implement and enforce all safety protocols, including fall protection, electrical safety, and equipment usage.

- Ensure that the job site is clean, organized, and hazard-free at all times.

- Document incidents, near misses, and safety concerns and communicate them promptly to supervisors.

What You Will Need

- 2+ years in a labor role with similar job responsibilities

- Proficient with hand and power tools, ladders, and fall protection systems

- Basic understanding of solar electrical systems and roof work

- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and schematics

- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (not required)

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
