Position Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Solar O&M Technician to join our field service team based out of Manteca, CA. You’ll support and maintain a growing portfolio of solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging systems across California. This is a hands-on role for a technically skilled and self-motivated professional who thrives in the field and enjoys problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
•Perform Preventive & Corrective Maintenance on PV systems, inverters, battery storage systems, EV chargers, and associated equipment.
•Diagnose & Troubleshoot system issues (e.g., inverter faults, communications failures, underperformance).
•Commission & Inspect new installations and upgrades for quality and code compliance.
•Monitor System Performance using manufacturer portals and third-party platforms; analyze data to ensure systems meet expected output.
•Document Findings in detailed service reports, logs, and customer summaries.
•Work Safely & Professionally on rooftops, carports, ground mounts, and commercial/industrial properties.
•Communicate Clearly with internal teams, clients, and site personnel.
•Travel Regularly throughout CA for scheduled or emergency work.
Required Technical Proficiency
Hands-on experience with the following systems is required:
•ESS (Energy Storage Systems)
•EV Chargers (various models including Level 2 commercial/residential units)
Preferred: Manufacturer-specific certifications on all major platforms listed above.
Minimum Qualifications
•Experience: 4+ years in solar PV installation, O&M, or electrical troubleshooting.
Licenses & Certifications:
•Valid CA Driver’s License (required)
•NABCEP certification or equivalent (preferred)
•OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid (preferred)
Technical Skills:
•Knowledge of NEC, system design, and solar industry standards
•Proficiency with hand/power tools, multimeters, monitoring platforms
•Ability to read single-line diagrams, as-builts, and spec sheets
Physical Requirements:
•Able to lift 60 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varied conditions
•Comfortable working at heights and traveling frequently

Pay: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour
