Solar Installer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and a passion for renewable energy. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of solar panels and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to work effectively in various environments, including rooftops and construction sites.

Responsibilities

- Install solar panels and related equipment according to project specifications and safety guidelines.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.

- Perform high voltage and low voltage electrical work in compliance with NEC standards.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively during installations.

- Conduct fixture installations and ensure proper wiring connections for optimal system performance.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues that may arise during or after installation.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Experience

- Proven experience as an electrician or in a related field with a focus on commercial projects is preferred.

- Familiarity with roofing techniques and safety practices is advantageous.

- Previous experience working on construction sites is essential, demonstrating an understanding of site protocols.

- Knowledge of plumbing systems may be beneficial for certain installation scenarios.

- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is required.

- Experience with high voltage systems, low voltage systems, fixture installation, and general electrical work is essential.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
