Who are we?

Chu Cho Industries LP. (CCI) is a resource and heavy construction company that works primarily within the forestry, mining, and transportation industries. CCI specializes in timber harvesting, transportation, resource road construction, road maintenance and operation of resource camps. CCI is based in Mackenzie BC and most works are completed within the Mackenzie TSA. CCI operates two industrial properties in Mackenzie which include an 1800 sq. ft. shop on a 5-acre lot and a modern 10,000 sq. ft. shop and office complex on a 10-acre lot. Administration, accounting, and management for CCI is based in Prince George BC.

Chu Cho Industries LP (CCI) is currently recruiting for experienced and qualified Labourers with the ability and certification to safely operate a Skid Steer. The labourers will work on a remote project in the Tsay Keh Dene and Mackenzie area. The project involves working in high risk terrains and varying weather conditions and therefore we are looking for candidates who have a high level of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

•

General construction labour

•

Assist in concrete formwork and rebar installation

•

Installation of utilities and drainage

•

Placement of granular materials and concrete

•

Operate a skid steer loader (Bobcat or similar)

•

Safely use power tools and small equipment

•

Erect and disassemble temporary structures

•

Perform site maintenance and cleanup

•

Assist other trades and take on miscellaneous duties as required.

Requirements:

•

Recent and relevant

•

Rotational and remote camp work. (rotation is dependent on the project and scope of work)

•

12-hour days (subject to change based on individual project and scope of work)

•

Punctual, committed to being on time for every shift

•

Can safely and skillfully operate equipment

•

Can follow instruction and work well with other employees, displays a “team player” attitude

•

Must have a desire to show up for work consistently

•

Able to work comfortably and maintain high levels of performance during 12-hour shift
