About You

We are looking for a Skilled Carpenter with Project Management experience to serve as a sub-contractor for our St. Louis market. The ideal candidate will have experience in general construction, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work and obtaining permits. We are seeking a self-starter that has attention to detail and strong problem solving skills. This role will be responsible for completing assigned tasks accurately within the given time-frame.

Responsibilities:

•

Follow safety protocols when operating machinery

•

Read and interpret scope of work

•

Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the St. Louis area and surrounding suburbs (Wentzville, O'Fallon, St. Peters)

•

Perform skilled carpenter tasks; and/or secure subcontractor in the market that is able to perform the job function

•

Serve as a project manager for all jobs to ensure given timelines are met

•

Secure additional sub-contractors as needed to complete scope of work

•

Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to construct, assemble, or repair structures and products

•

Work in a team environment to complete projects on time and within budget

•

Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment

•

Lift heavy objects safely

•

Communicate daily with Ellis Homes LLC personal and other Project Managers

•

Provide photographs and evidence of completed final projects

•

Work in a variety of weather conditions at residential and commercial properties.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
