Skilled Carpenter

Custom builder is looking for an Experienced and Skilled Lead Carpenter. We are looking to hire a carpenter with a dedication to accuracy and attention to detail. This person must be hard working, with a professional and positive attitude and appearance, and must have their own tools and transportation.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years’ carpentry experience.

Tools should include all basic hand tools and power tools customarily owned by a carpenter.

Knowledge of working power tools and saws.

Reliable transportation to get to jobs located throughout Seattle and the Eastside.

Able to read, understand, and interpret construction plans, sketches, and details.

Knowledge of proper sequence of construction.

Experience with demolition, rough carpentry, framing, and finish work including cabinet installation and custom casework.

Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Good communication skills.

Professional attitude and appearance.

Reliable and on time to work.

Ability to work well with others.

Compensation:

Depends on experience. $35-$45hr
