Site Superintendent

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee and manage industrial Electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. This is a traveling position.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and MSHA regulations.

- Manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.

- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement solutions as needed.

- Oversee budgeting processes and manage contract negotiations to maintain project financial health.

- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of design specifications.

- Perform construction estimating to provide accurate cost assessments for projects.

- Ensure proper use of tools and equipment, including ohmmeters for electrical work on-site.

- Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.

- Strong knowledge of construction site management practices and procedures.

- Familiarity with pipeline construction is preferred but not mandatory.

- Proficient in budgeting and contract management skills.

- Excellent blueprint reading abilities and understanding of construction estimating techniques.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
