AEP is seeking a Civil Engineer with six (6) or more years of civil site engineering experience and leadership skills who's searching for an exciting opportunity to join the Civil & Geotechnical Engineering (CGE) group at American Electric Power (AEP). There are two positions available. One is located in Roanoke, VA and one in Tulsa, OK. In one of these roles, you'll have an opportunity for a unique career development experience with challenging assignments across AEP’s 11-state footprint. Showcase your talents and skills while performing civil site engineering, land development, stormwater management design, and roadway design assignments for Electric Substation, Transmission Line, and Telecommunications projects.

Qualified candidates shall possess knowledge of civil site engineering principles through education and/or demonstrated project experience related to:

What We're Looking For:

Education/Experience Requirements: The Engineer Sr has typically acquired six (6) or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET; or four (4) years of related engineering experience along with a Master's degree or PhD in engineering from a program accredited by ABET

Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico* is encouraged and preferred.
