Sign Maker/Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative Sign Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and craftsmanship, with the ability to create high-quality signs that meet client specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Design and produce a variety of signs, including banners, vehicle graphics, and illuminated signs.

- Utilize tools and equipment such as vinyl cutters, printers, and an ohmmeter to ensure quality production.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide recommendations for sign design and materials.

- Prepare surfaces for sign application by cleaning, sanding, or priming as necessary.

- Install signs at various locations while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

- Maintain an organized workspace and keep track of materials and inventory.

- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in sign making or a related field is preferred.

- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW is a plus.

- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical components in signage is highly desirable.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during installation tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $700.00 - $1,200.00 per week
