Responsible for, but not limited to, receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from warehouse. Build and repair oil field tools/parts in warehouse.
1. The Tool Technician reports directly to and is responsible to the District Manager.
2. No supervisory responsibility.
1. Adhere to both RPC and Thru Tubing Solutions policies and procedures.
2. Adhere to both industry and company safety policies.
3. Maintains personal safety training at 90% with a goal of 100%.
4. Store equipment/tools in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouses, tool area, supply rooms, or other areas of the shop.
5. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse.
6. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, and equipment in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
7. Build/repair tools.
8. Examine and inspect tools/parts for wear or defects, segregating any damaged parts/tools.
9. Obtain or assist in obtaining the supplies required to maintain the service line equipment; utilizing company approved vendors, and purchase order forms; assure all forms are complete and accurate.
10. Drops off and receives miscellaneous tools/parts at site locations and other districts.
11. Meet all required deadlines.
12. Performs other assignments and/or duties as required.
V. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. High School Diploma/equivalent; experience in oilfield related industry preferred.
2. Knowledgeable of all types of oilfield equipment used at the location.
3. Must have basic computer skills.
4. One year shop and calibration experience.
