Shop Labourer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to support our steel fabrication and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Currently 3 month contract - may lead to full time.

Duties

- Perform physical labor in out steel fabricating shop

- Assist with loading and unloading materials

- Operate hand and power tools, such as air nailers, saws, grinders and bolt cutters

- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment

Experience

- Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required

- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions

- Familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus

- Willingness to learn and follow instructions closely
