Perform a wide range of tasks in an industrial setting. Primary duties range from helping with fabrication to grinding, racking material, painting, cleanup, sorting material into scrap bins, cutting, punching at the ironworker, preparation for painting, painting and any other tasks that support job completion.
We are a job shop, and we complete many different types of projects on a daily basis. The duties of this position will likely change from day to day depending on which part of the shop needs assistance.
· Use our shop equipment to perform various tasks to keep shop clean and support the completion of projects.
· Specific on the job training is provided for each machine.
· Work with another team member to fabricate larger or heavier items as needed. Must be able to work with heavier material at times. (At least 50 lbs)
· Clean up and sort scrap as needed.
· Must be able to work as a team in an outdoor and open air shop setting.
· Safety equipment and tools are provided for your use.
· NOTE: Employee is responsible for their own steel toe boots, proper work attire and tape measure.
· We offer accrued PTO and paid holidays after a 3 month probation period.
· The company will pay for the employees’ health, vision and dental insurance after a 3 month probation period. We also offer a retirement program and match up to a 3% contribution.
Monday – Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with a 30 minute lunch.
Friday - 7:30 am to 11:30 am with a 30 minute lunch
