Job Title: Head Packer

Reports To: Department Manager with direction from Team Leader

Shift/Hours: 1st Shift Position (6:45 AM – 6:45 PM) 2-days on, 2-days off, every other weekend rotating shift (2-2-3). Overtime may be required throughout the week

Starting Rate: $20.96 per hour/with the ability to earn more

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shipping Head Packer for our Shipping Department. In this role, you will work closely with the production team to coordinate packing schedules and communicate any special requirements for packaging specific products. You will be responsible for inspecting packaging materials, maintaining inventory levels, and implementing quality control measures to ensure compliance with company standards. Additionally, you will lead a team of packers, providing guidance and training to ensure consistent performance and adherence to safety protocols. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must, as you will be working closely with internal departments, shipping carriers, and customers to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
