Shipping Dock Attendant - 1st Shift, 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking a Distribution Dock Attendant for 1st & 2nd shifts at our Cincinnati, OH facility.

Regular Schedule & Hours

- 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM

- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM; Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Over Time schedule & hours

- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM

- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM

- Currently operating on OT schedule, OT schedule begins in week 3 or 4 of employment.

Role Title:

- Distribution Dock Attendant

Primary Responsibilities

- Wrap customer orders using an automated pallet wrapper.

- Work with distribution auditors to ensure product is loaded on correct trailers.

- Verify customer paperwork before shipment.

- Apply correct packing slips and labels to all orders.

- Load wrapped pallets into the correct carriers’ trailers.

- Operate a forklift to load and unload trailers.

- Maintain accurate and organized shipping documentation.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or shipping role preferred. - 1+ year of forklift experience required.

- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with distribution and order management teams.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Basic math and reading skills.

Requirements

- Must obtain a forklift license and pass certification/recertification.

- Ability to lift, stoop, bend, walk, pull, and carry ±75 pounds 100% of the time.

- Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

- Must be able to stand for 75% of the shift.

- Exposure to potential lost-time accidents (hands, arms, feet, back) is possible.

- Must furnish own standard hand tools.
