The Shipper/Receiver will be required to act as a contact for all materials and tools in the yard. Responsibilities will include maintaining the yard to implement workplace safety, inspecting materials and equipment to ensure proper working conditions, efficiently storing materials, and shipping materials to work sites. Other responsibilities will include the scheduling, tracking, and coordination of material delivery, and management of resources.

Job Duties
•Maintain inventory for construction materials, small tools, and construction products.
•Maintain property surrounding office and shop, including weed and litter control, and keep yard and grounds in an organized, professional manner.
•Serve as a contact for all materials and small tools in the yard.
•Inspect all equipment and materials when returned to the yard; thoroughly check equipment to make sure it is in working condition and store materials in an orderly fashion.
•Utilize a scheduling system to coordinate, track, and provide trucking for the delivery of materials to job sites, and manage resources in and out of the yard.
•Maintain accurate inventory records and provide performance and status reports.
•Implement efficient storage methods to maximize the utility of the space, keeping upcoming jobs accessible, and ensure all materials are stored safely [minimize the risk of damage/weathering].
•Other duties as required.
Requirements
•High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
•Possess a valid driver’s license.
•Able to work independently in a busy environment.
•Experience with routine maintenance operations.
•Highly flexible with strong people skills.

Work Conditions
•Physical ability to lift to 50lb.
•Travel to off-site locations may be required.
•Safety equipment will be required, e.g., steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
