Due to our dynamic growth, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver position in Calgary. We are looking for a positive, responsible, hard-working, and detail-oriented individual to contribute their skills. It is the perfect foot in the door for a new career in the growing solar and renewable industry. The ideal candidate can work with a high attention to detail in a busy and exciting environment, picking and packing complex components for high-quality solar PV systems, and shipping them across Canada. The position will often be the final link between BayWa r.e. and our customers and will work in conjunction with our sales team. We operate as a team and are looking for someone who thrives on cooperation and teamwork.

Position: Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

Reports To: Supervisor

Hours: Full-time

Location: Calgary

Key Responsibilities:

-Pick orders with a high degree of accuracy and pack/wrap them to company standards

-Receive incoming shipments and check for any damages/missing items

-Book and coordinate shipments with carriers/couriers through phone/computer using manual and computerized software

-Load/offload trailers and shipping containers

-Assist customers with in-house pick-ups

-Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and professional to aid in operational efficiency

-Complete inventory counts and ensure stock is accurate

-Identify areas of improvement, and make recommendations for change

-Perform checklists on all machinery, tools, and forklifts

The position will be full-time Monday to Friday with no weekend requirements. We value hard-working and motivated individuals who are eager to learn, and someone that can grow and advance within the company. Shipping and receiving is the most important thing we do, and we take it very seriously. We offer a starting wage of $24/hour with the potential for annual increases and profit sharing. A minimum of 2 years warehouse experience and demonstrated forklift experience are required.
