We are looking for a Shipper - Calgary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Shipper to join our team. Reporting to the Supply Chain / QHSE Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of goods, while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Receiving team, follow established shipping procedures, and help support seamless operations across the warehouse.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in Shipping and Receiving, with a strong understanding of related procedures and methods.
- Forklift training or the ability to be trained on both sit-down and stand-up forklifts; valid certification is an asset.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP system experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Additional training in WHMIS, and TDG is preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of performing tasks that involve continuous lifting, standing, walking, and equipment operation.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and adjust to shifting business needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Execute daily shipping activities, including picking, packing, labeling, and preparing goods for shipment based on ERP sales orders and customer requirements.
- Ensure all shipments comply with relevant regulations, including customs and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), while maintaining accurate and complete shipping documentation.
- Schedule and communicate with carriers for pickups, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to shipping instructions and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation, including scanning and archiving shipment details and photos in accordance with internal procedures.
- Collaborate closely with the Receiving and Purchasing team to ensure incoming and outgoing goods are managed effectively, and support cross-functional logistics tasks as needed.
- Operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up), and perform daily safety inspections.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts, stock movements, and supporting annual inventory processes.
- Follow company health, safety, and environmental policies, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by following internal processes and contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain / QHSE Manager or their delegate.
