We're a shop that specializes in hand-crafting replacement sheet metal body parts for Porsche 356 cars. We are looking for someone who will weld, cut, and use other techniques to form sheet metal. We need someone who is willing to learn on the job.
- Weld sheet metal using various techniques (Mig Welding, Tig Welding, Resistive Welding)
- Cut sheet metal along patterns using various tools (power tools, shears, hand snips)
- Bend sheet metal into the correct form using manual brake machines
- Use hydraulic press to form sheet metal stampings
- Form sheet metal using hammer-forming techniques
- Fabricate sheet metal parts using various techniques (welding, riveting, etc.)
- Package sheet metal parts for shipment to customer
- Follow all workplace safety requirements
- Produce high-quality work
- Sometimes the work will be physically demanding
- You'll learn many of these skills/techniques on the job
