Set Up Tech, Assembly 3rd Shift

Responsible for all aspects of changeovers and set-ups within the Assembly department.

Responsible for preventative maintenance, housekeeping, and assisting lead and supervisor as needed.

Required to perform and document machinery preventive maintenance based on maintenance schedule.

Perform inspection procedures using precision measuring instruments and apply document principles of statistical process control (SPC).

Use and confirm proper operation of all safety devices and procedures.

Complete work orders and department related paperwork.

All other responsibilities as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to operate assembly equipment as well as learn and master the ability to complete changeovers.

Ability to perform preventive maintenance checks, provide accurate documentation, maintain tooling, and perform quality checks.

Must be able to make sound decisions with regards to machine set ups and changeovers.

Ability to read and understand blueprints, quality, and other related documents and instructions.
