Set-up/Maintenance Technician

The Set-up/Maintenance member has responsibility for setting-up, adjusting, and maintaining assigned equipment. They hold responsibility for developing, maintaining and improving their work system which enables the successful achievement of safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment. Problem-solve and take corrective action.

- Collaborate with production leadership on production schedule.

- Open to mentoring and teaching team members on proper operation of equipment.

- Interact with operators for input on machine operation.

- Responsible for performing preventative maintenance per agreed upon schedule.

- Run equipment after setup and repairs to verify process.

- Complete shift hand-off communications.

- Responsible for conformance to and improvement of set-up/maintenance standards.

- Participating in development of standards.

- Open to development opportunities not limited to changes of shift, job duties or requirements.

- Participate in continuous improvement activities.

- Adhere to all safety, TS16949 and ISO14001 requirements.

- Perform 5S housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Skills Required:

- Systematic approach to problem solving

- Mechanically inclined

- Math skills

- Print reading

- Ability to effectively use micrometers/calipers and other measuring tools

Educational/Experience Required:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- One year of mechanical education or equivalent experience

Schedule:

First Shift | Monday – Thursday (Overtime Opportunities on Friday) | 5:00am until 3:30pm

Second shift | Monday – Thursday | 3:30pm until 2:00am

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
