Service Technician - Wellhead Isolation Tools

We are currently seeking a Isolation Tool Operator position in Odessa, TX.

PURPOSE:

Performs physical tasks in the shop, warehouse, or on a wellsite; expected to have a working understanding of operations in order to effectively communicate with clients, perform shipping/receiving duties, rig up/down equipment, and redress equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

+ Torqueing + On-site flange tagging + Support for hydro-testing/re-in statement after hydro test and support for leak testing + Assuring the quality of bolt tightening tools and equipment including but not limited to hydraulic hoses and couplings and provide flange management training

SCHEDULE:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Must be willing to travel, including being away from home 2 - 3 weeks at a time + Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history + Must be willing and able to work long hours

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Pressure pumps 0 – 25,000 psi + Portable units (trailer or skid) + Fill pumps + 150 – 2500 series flanges, bolts, and gaskets + Testing flex steel pipe + Inline water filters + Calibrated instrumentation with certification + Brass dead weights, digital dead weights, flow meters, stroke counters, 24-hour pressure recorders

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

+ Employee lifts/carries 82lb occasionally + Employee's position requires pushing a maximum force of 72 ft./lbs. + Employee's position requires pulling a maximum force of 72 ft./lbs. + Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces + Exposure to inclement weather, bright lights, loud noise, dust, gas, and/or fumes
