With virtual, classroom, and onsite instruction to introduce you to the industry, this training covers hands-on technical items as well as customer engagement best practices. In short order you will be riding along with some of the best techs in the industry to see first-hand how the job gets done. After that training is completed and you are certified, you will be in your own vehicle to perform precision tune up's, light repairs, preventative maintenance, and know how to educate customers on solutions to their comfort issues.

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
•Participate in learning activities to prepare or enhance your career in HVAC.
•Adjust system controls to settings recommended by manufacturer to balance system.
•Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions.
•Recommend Install and test automatic, programmable, or wireless thermostats in residential or commercial buildings to minimize energy usage for heating or cooling.
•Recommend Install auxiliary components to heating or cooling equipment, such as expansion or discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues, or stokers.
•Recommend, Install and repair air purification systems, such as specialized filters or ultraviolet (UV) light purification systems.
•Recommend, Install, connect, or adjust thermostats, humidistats, or timers.
•Recommend, develop, or perform preventive or general maintenance procedures, such as cleaning, power-washing, or vacuuming equipment, oiling parts, or changing filters.
•Record and report time, materials, faults, deficiencies, or other unusual occurrences on work orders.
•Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
•Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area.
•Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution.
•Wrap pipes, securing insulation in place with cement or wire bands.
•Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
· Basic computer skills
· Able to perform basic math functions
