The ideal candidate will be responsible to safely carry out numerous tasks on a service rig in an industrial setting including Rig Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance, Housekeeping & 5S, Training Modules, Safety Training, participate in the BBS safety program, Operation of power tongs, Operation of the laydown trailer, stocking and maintain parts inventory.
- Operate Equipment and maintain a service rig, perform maintenance, housekeeping.
- Follow all Mosaic safety programs and protocols
- Train and be open to mentorship from your Derrickman and Operator using the Mosaic core values.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work cooperatively with other departments and employees on site.
- Responsible to ensure that yourself and crew adhere to completing quality Safe Work Plans, Daily Rig and equipment
- inspections, Hazard identification and risk mitigation.
- Communicate with your crew any questions you may have about the work that is to be performed, any safety
- concerns or questions and be open to learning and improving the skills required to become a successful Floor Hand.
- Participate in morning shift starts and be actively engaged in discussions, Attend and complete monthly safety meeting and training.
- High School diploma or GED certificate is required.
- CERTIFICATIONS: Fall Arrest, First Aid or other pertinent training is an asset but not required.
- EXPERIENCE: Service rig experience is a preference, mechanical aptitude is preferential, working knowledge of hydraulics, cables and pulleys is preferred.
- KNOWLEDGE: General operation of equipment, rigs, heavy equipment,
- Basic computer skills are required a willingness to learn and complete Well view and Maximo training.
- A strong safe working attitude, good communication skills, Trouble shooting and mechanical aptitude.
- A willingness to improve and enforce policies and procedures.
- Valid Class 3A or 1A Saskatchewan Driver’s License is preferred with a class 5 as a minimum- A competitive base salary + a bonus incentive
