Your contribution!
Reporting to the Director of Shared Financial Services, you will play a key role within the team in maintaining and aligning the two main financial systems used by the company, Oracle ERP Cloud and Onestream. This position will give you the opportunity to combine your accounting and technology expertise to develop and maintain the systems used in the company's financial reporting process.
Your day-to-day!•Develop, maintain, and align the structures and processes of the company's two main financial systems: maintain the corporate structure, hierarchies, chart of accounts, cross-validation rules, linked value rules, mapping rules, intercompany balancing rules, etc.
•Support and guide the team in maintaining and creating accounting allocations in Oracle EPM.
•Anticipate improvement needs by analyzing financial system data and processes, guide and advise management with informed recommendations, while ensuring that proposed solutions comply with accounting and tax regulations.
•Maintain a high level of expertise in relation to industry best practices, advances, upcoming changes, and the latest training available related to financial systems.
•Guide and act as an expert and reference during the implementation of financial system upgrades.
•Develop a relationship of trust with users and anticipate training needs. Develop and deliver training to keep users up to date with changes in financial systems. Support users by providing customized learning sessions on specific topics to develop the individual knowledge and skills they need to operationalize their financial module.
•Guide and act as an expert and reference for cross-functional teams when there are special mandates related to financial application systems.
Your skills, our requirements!
•Bachelor's degree in accounting or organizational information systems (OIS);
•CPA designation an asset;
•7 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
•3 to 5 years of experience with Oracle ERP Cloud (financial module: corporate structure, GL, intercompany, etc.);
•Experience with Onestream (a significant asset);
•High level of comfort and autonomy in the use and understanding of financial application systems;
•Good listening and communication skills to understand and explain user needs;
•Ability to prioritize tasks and sense of organization;
•Good teamwork and collaboration skills;
•Adaptability in the evolving world of financial application systems;
•Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required to ensure collaboration with different stakeholders outside of Québec on a regular basis.
Additional considerations!
•The position can be based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station;
•This position is a P4 level.
