Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Sales Representative who is capable of training newer salespersons to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through effective account management, lead generation, and both inside and outside sales strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for training new hires. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in roofing and storm restoration sales and a proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and training new salespersons to be successful. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence and building lasting relationships with clients. Must be comfortable climbing ladders to access roofs. Must be comfortable with heights. Drone operator is a plus.
Responsibilities
•Train newer salespersons to sell the exterior work that we do- roofing, siding, gutters, windows, doors, painting, etc. There is compensation for the training that will be in addition to compensation for sales that you make on your own.
•Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
•Conduct cold calling to generate new leads and expand the customer base.
•Manage existing accounts while identifying opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling.
•Collaborate with the marketing team to align lead generation efforts with sales goals.
•Provide expert guidance to clients, demonstrating how working with us will best meet their needs.
•Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using Acculynx. We are currently looking to transition to another CRM, but have not done so yet.
•Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing product features and benefits.
•Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and stay ahead of competitors.
Skills
•Ability to teach others sales techniques that work in this line of work.
•Proven experience in inside sales and/or outside sales.
•Strong account management skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
•Excellent cold calling techniques with a focus on lead generation.
•Proficient in using Acculynx and other sales tools to track performance metrics.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly.
•Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
•Knowledge of market dynamics and trends relevant to our industry is highly desirable.
Bottom Line
•Success is completely up to you. Pay is based on volume of sales, with experienced successful salespersons bringing in 10% of gross sales as commission, with possibility of bonuses as well. In this industry, an average "good" salesperson should bring in $1 million in sales per year. The more you can sell, the more money we can all make. In addition, while training the new salespersons, you will split sales you make with them while they are still too new to do it on their own and will also receive 2% of their sales after they are released to sell on their own for at least the first six months of them selling solo.
•While we mostly focus on Residential currently, we do Commercial as well, and are looking to expand that side of things. If your experience is in either Residential or Commercial, please think about joining our team.
