Global insurance support function reporting to and working directly with the Global Director of Risk Management. The role will be administrative as well as technical in nature and will provide opportunities for continued growth / personal development in all areas of Risk Management.
Notice
This is not a remote work position. The position requires working a minimum of three (3) days per week in the Tulsa, Oklahoma Corporate Office.
- Working with our Global Insurance Broker
- Address global insurance questions from inter-company employees (all coverage lines)
- Contract Review:
- Review insurance requirements to support TDW’s job bidding process as assigned by the Director of Risk Management
- Confirm required insurance coverage is in place and that the insurance requirements are acceptable or point out discrepancies to legal
- Certificates of Insurance (COI):
- Review contractual insurance requirements provided by inter-company employees to obtain COI’s
- Request COI’s from insurance broker and provide to requestor
- Monitor timely receipt of COI’s from insurance broker
- Automobile I.D. Cards:
- Work with Fleet Management
- Request proper Proof of Insurance from broker as required and provide to Fleet Management or other Employees (requestor)
- Monitor timely receipt of Automobile I.D. Cards from insurance broker
- Billing:
- Insurance program renewals including TPA agreement
- Insurance program audits
- Monthly per claim and adjuster fee billings from TPA
- Claim settlements
- Surety
- Third-party occupational injury medical triage provider
- Real Estate Broker
- Other “if any” as directed
- Insurance Premium Allocation:
- Annual insurance program renewal
- Update / populate premium allocation worksheet annually
- Surety:
- Procure new bonds and manage the renewal of existing surety bonds
- Monitor timely receipt of surety bonds from insurance broker
- Maintain current / open surety bond listing and manage bond files
- Claims:
- Work with third-party occupational injury medical triage provider
- Claim reporting per insurance policy requirements
- Provide required data to claim adjusters
- Monitor claims to include working with adjusters to push claims to closure (principally workers’ compensation, general liability, and automobile liability)
- Verify the accuracy of monthly claim and claim service fee billings from TPA
- Assist with trend analysis and report preparation for HSE / HR
- Facilitate two monthly open claim meetings (reserve analysis and claim updates)
- Work with Legal, HR, HSE, and Finance / Accounting (reserve adequacy)
- Risk Management Data Management / Administration:
- File Management including contract reviews, COI’s, automobile I.D. cards, billing, insurance premium allocation, surety, claims, insurance policy audits, insurance policy files, insurance policy endorsements, insurance program renewals, and special projects (all applicable files / information managed by Risk Management)
- Annual Insurance Program Renewals:
- Attend internal and broker lead renewal strategy meetings
- Internal – round up renewal information requested by broker (submission data)
- Review and organize submission data
- Provide submission data to broker
- Post program renewal binding activities such as COI’s, Auto I.D. Cards, Binders, and Billings etc.
- Set up new policy files (electronic)
- Maintain open items listing for weekly meeting with Global Director of Risk Management
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned by Global Director of Risk Management
- Risk Identification; Risk Analysis; Study Risk Treatment Option(s); Help Select Appropriate Risk Management Treatment Option(s); Implement Risk Treatment Option(s); and Monitor Results
- Manage real estate leases with our real estate broker (current & new leases)
- Manage annual expense adjustments

- Bachelor of Business, Finance or Accounting preferred
- Minimum of Five years of commercial insurance experience required (risk management, underwriting, claims, or agent/broker) - Contractor / Energy related experience a plus
- Claim management experience a plus
- Must be able to work with a broad number of subjects, learn operations concepts and practices, communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
