The Recruiter is responsible for developing a pipeline of field talent. The Recruiter will maintain daily communication with the Manager and office team while using Company core values of Integrity, Candor, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
• Maintain operational excellence through achieving the “Minimum Performance Standards" as outlined each Fiscal Year which includes:
- Achieving standards for all minimum activity requirements including touches and starts
- Support gross profit (GP) goals of the Division with value calculator management
• Recruit through various sources, to include Company database, internet, job postings, referrals, advertisements, direct mail, call and email blasts, and conventions.
• Review resumes, interview and screen candidates to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills; conduct references
• Build a pipeline of candidates to help support and anticipate future needs; provide additional support to assigned offices as needed
• Participate in team meetings and process improvement strategies.
• Maintain effective communication and follow-up with the team to place/transition candidates
• Maintain effective communication, engagement and follow-up with potential/active field talent; document activity in HubSpot
• Assist Manager in organizing, preparing and implementing recruiting and retention programs
• Use professional recruiting strategies to secure employment contracts from potential local contract, per diem and travel candidates
• Identify and secure new sources of candidates
• Help to create an environment of high morale, motivation, and teamwork
Additional Essential Job Functions - Senior Recruiter:
• Strategize and set weekly submission quotas per client with Manager
• Conduct small monthly meet and greet of potential applicants
• Manage and strategize office job postings daily ensuring that each team member completes their assigned postings and minimum levels are maintained
• Coordinate with Marketing Recruitment Specialists on new recruiting best practices to instruct, teach and lead office on recruitment efforts
• Provide weekly updates during meetings to team on job postings, social media and new job sourcing methods
• Ensure office talent attends company-facilitated recruitment trainings and functions; ensure office talent are coached on missed trainings
• Manage dedicated recruitment times daily for office talent
• Coach and ensure proper utilization of all online sourcing such as social media, and online networks
• Help develop and support the mentor training of new recruiters and recruitment process of the team
Position may be listed as a Senior level according to production and/or past experience*
• Minimum of 3 years equivalent experience required, preferably in the light industrial or mining industries; 3-5 years’ experience required for the Senior level role
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in recruiting, staffing, production methods, human resources, and/or similar or relevant work experience is a plus
• Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and rules of composition
• Knowledge of principles and methods for selling recruiting services; this includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales management systems
• Ability to work independently and with other team members
• Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Must be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and computer
• Must have a working knowledge of computers and software systems including Microsoft Office products and the Internet; knowledge of internet job boards and internet recruiting preferred
• Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as required
