Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Senior Proposal Coordinator for our one of our Northeast offices.
As part of our Proposal Development team, the Senior Proposal Coordinator will play a key role in guiding and facilitating a collaborative process to develop high-quality, competitive proposals for engineering and environmental projects. Working closely with colleagues across disciplines, this position brings together diverse skills and perspectives to ensure each proposal benefits from the strengths of the entire team.

- Manage the full lifecycle of proposals, from RFP analysis to final submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
- Facilitate strategy meetings with technical teams and leadership to develop winning approaches.
- Draft, edit, and refine compelling narratives, resumes, and project descriptions tailored to client needs.
- Maintain consistency in branding, messaging, and compliance across all deliverables.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for shortlist interviews and presentations.
- Contribute to the development of tools, templates, and best practices to enhance proposal efficiency and quality.
- Provide mentoring to junior staff regarding the proposal process and best practices- 8+ years in proposal coordination or marketing within the AEC industry, with at least 3 years in a senior/principal role
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field Licenses
- Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of RFP processes and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Word; InDesign experience preferred.
