Position Specific Description NextEra Energy is seeking a Sr Project Manager! Key Responsibilities

- Lead sourcing initiatives for IT services and professional services

- Conduct financial analysis including cost-benefit assessments, budget variance analysis, and vendor spend optimization

- Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations and KPIs

- Develop and maintain vendor scorecards and performance metrics

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing opportunities and requirements

- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, SOX requirements, and regulatory standards

- Manage vendor onboarding, contract renewals, and relationship governance

- Prepare executive reports on vendor performance, cost savings, and market analysis

- Oversee and project manage controls assessment across XD workstreams

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Plans, coordinates and completes large-scale or several medium or small, complex or long term project(s) within budgetary and scheduling guidelines

- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports

- Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes

- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis

- Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions

- Provides information to internal and external clients on moderate to complex issues

- Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders

- Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project

- Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team

- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

- High School Grad / GED

- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

- Experience: 4+ years

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's Degree

- Project Management Professional (PMP)
