Senior Project Manager – Civil Engineering

Our client, a respected engineering and consulting firm recognized for its collaborative culture and innovative project work, is seeking a Civil Engineering Senior Project Manager to lead land development and infrastructure projects across the region.

Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

- Lead and manage project teams delivering civil site and land development designs.

- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

- Review and approve design plans including grading, drainage, and utilities.

- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and agencies through design and permitting.

- Mentor junior staff and support their professional growth.

- Prepare proposals, budgets, and contracts for new and ongoing work.

- Strengthen client relationships and support business development efforts.

Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in South Carolina or eligible through reciprocity.

- 10+ years of experience in civil/site design or land development.

- Strong project management and leadership background.

- Skilled in grading, stormwater, and utility design.

- Proficient in Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, or similar software.

- Excellent communication and client management skills.

- Experience developing proposals and overseeing projects from concept to completion.

- Familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
