Assists in the execution of the strategic plan by supporting and promoting a culture of continuous improvement by working within a Project Management framework. Facilitates and leads complex, high-value projects and initiatives with multi-disciplinary teams using Project Management and Continuous Improvement techniques leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies focused on enhancing productivity, reducing waste, reducing cost, solving problems, and maximizing member value.
Coach, mentor and provide basic Project Management and Continuous Improvement/Lean Six Sigma training to all levels of the cooperative to facilitate major change.
Execute analytical approaches and apply structured project management and process improvement techniques.
Reinforces and encourages data-based decisions to drive value-stream enhancements and continuous improvement.
Demonstrate understanding of and application of a wide range of Continuous Improvement/Lean Six Sigma tools.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 years related experience and/or training equivalent required.
Current Lean Six-Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) or ability to obtain within one year of date of employment.
Experience leading and directing cross functional project teams and responsibility for project delivery.
Experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean Six Sigma in a working environment.
Experience in the electric utility industry working with databases and project management.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Software Applications including MS Visio and MS Project.
Must be able to maintain professionalism and control under all circumstances.
Has and maintains a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record and is able to operate SVEC vehicles.
Must become and remain certified in CPR and first aid. Must also be skilled in the use of safety equipment.
