Position Summary: We are hiring for a Senior Process Engineer with at least 7 years of experience to work in our Operations department. This position reports to VP Process Delivery and Safety and will be located remotely with 25% + travel.
The role of the Senior Process Engineer is to work on process improvements across the fleet of RNG sites to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. This position will report directly to the Vice President, Biogas Process Delivery & Safety.
- Incumbent will work alongside the Biogas Process Delivery Team and the Biogas Operations Team.
- Common issues involve control systems, outages, or underperformance—requires quick root-cause analysis and resolution strategies.
- Role is hands-on and operationally involved with real-time plant performance.
- Additionally, role will work on process improvements across the fleet of RNG sites to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing RNG facilities.
- Supporting and sustaining high performance operations across distributed RNG sites.
- Ensuring gas compression, filtration, control, and ancillary systems are functioning properly.
- Optimizing or improving supporting ancillary systems: oil/water separators, valves, coolers, etc.
- Minimum of 7 years in chemical, oil or gas processing operations, with proven success in supporting multiple facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- SCADA proficiency: Must be comfortable navigating SCADA systems, analyzing historical data to pinpoint process failures.
- Experience supporting multiple distributed sites.
- Required location in the mid-west or east coast near a major airport – desired at one of our RNG sites or willing to relocate.
- Willingness to travel ~25%. More travel likely during onboarding and site familiarization.

Work Hours and Arrangements:
Standard Monday – Friday, first shift (40-hours); hours may fluctuate, based upon customer demand.

Pay
: The range for this role is anticipated to be $130,000 - $160,000 annually with bonus for eligible positions. Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting. The actual salary offered will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, market / business considerations, and geographic location.
