Senior Mechanical Engineer

As a

you will perform both classical hand calculations and analysis (including FEA) using ANSYS to qualify systems and components against applicable codes and standards.

You will report to the Manager, Mechatronic Systems and Analysis and be located at our Peterborough location. You will have a hybrid work arrangement of 2 to 3 days per week on site.

Qualifications

+ Apply the relevant codes and standards applicable to the design of nuclear components and systems, specialised tooling and remote handling equipment + Pressure retaining systems to CSA and ASME design codes + Work with customer representatives and also providing oversight of vendors + Radiological shielding design and equipment
