Senior Mechanical Engineer

Shield Engineering and Architecture Ltd. is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team and expand our consulting services. More specifically, we are interested in progressing our offerings for mechanical building services and fire protection systems.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated person, working as part of an integrated team providing engineering services to our diverse client base.

In this position, you will:

Qualifications and skill sets:

◦ Industry and regulatory codes including Ontario Building Code, ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA.

◦ Mechanical calculations (heat loss/gain, ventilation, hydraulic calculations, sanitary system calculations).

◦ Mechanical specifications for ducting, piping, fire protection and other mechanical building services.
